The 2009 Cooperative Education Conference for Couples was held June 26-28 at
Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club near Pawleys Island, SC.
Nestled
among mature oaks, natural wetlands and salt marsh, Pawleys Plantation is a 582-acre golf resort in Pawleys Island, SC, offering
guests a great resort destination reminiscent of a Southern plantation. The resort also offers restaurants, a new fitness
room, two swimming pools, a business center and a beautiful Southern veranda for outdoor functions.
Program
Couples
had the opportunity to learn more about the different cooperative businesses represented through encounter sessions, you will
learn about the economic and service benefits of cooperatives and how cooperatives differ from other corporations, and you’ll
have the chance to exchange ideas and experiences with other young couples and cooperative leaders.
Objectives
of the Conference:
