The Council's mission is to provide
cooperative education and it annually sponsors a Cooperative Education Conference for Couples where information about cooperative
principles and practices is facilitated by cooperative leaders. The program is designed to give couples a better understanding
of how cooperatives operate.
Each year at the Council's annual meeting, a Distinguished Cooperator of the Year is presented.
Annually, the Council sends high school students to the National Institute for Cooperative Education (NICE).
In addition, the Council meets with agricultural educators to update them about the Council's programs and provides
materials about cooperatives for their classroom.
